This workshop focuses on creating a nurturing, trauma-informed shelter environment through the use of compassion and empathy. Designed for direct care staff, the training examines common challenges of communal living and presents a model of survivor-centered advocacy that emphasizes mutual accountability. Participants will practice trauma-informed skills that support dignity and respect and share empowering strategies for resolving conflicts
