ODVN Youth Advocacy Caucus presents free workshop open to all...

Ways to Improve Working with Boys and Young Men in Shelter who are Victimized by Domestic Violence

This free workshop helps advocates and programs learn about healthy masculinity and look at the ways they treat and talk to boys that may inadvertently cause shame and oppression. Participants will learn about toxic masculinity, defining the "man box" and  how to promote healthy manhood for young boys. You will explore ways to be more intentional in your work with boys and young men to help end violence against women and other forms of oppression.
