Please join us for this free, interactive training

Thursday, January 21st, 2021

1:00 p.m- 4:00 p.m. EST

This interactive workshop is designed for frontline advocates to bolster their knowledge of the vagus nerve and secondary trauma exposure. Actionable steps through self-discovery activities will encourage advocates to become accountable to their own self-care and their overall health. Advocates will explore concepts of secondary trauma exposure to gain awareness about how to be well in their services to child and adult survivors. You will practice techniques such as breathing, movement, and self-care strategies to enhance your well-being. Advocates are invited to bring a mat or blanket and have space or a chair to practice poses. To participate in the art expression activity, please bring markers, paper and any art supplies you'd like to include.
