Please join us for this interactive, virtual workshop
Join the February workshop about supporting youth and adult survivors during times of distress. Enhance your skill set as you engage in scenarios exploring how to provide "safety" to parents and youth experiencing trauma reactions or stress responses. Go beyond observing their upset to feeling more confident in your responses and intervention strategies. Highlights include trauma-informed approaches, do's and don'ts, providing emotional and physical safety, and exploring your bias and expectations in your service.
Noteworthy: Please join with the expectation of participating and talking with one another, risking thoughts, trying ideas during role-play and scenarios, and breaking into small group work over Zoom. If you participate and wish to receive CEU's you will need to demonstrate your participation with cameras on, engage in conversation, and actively participate in small group work.
