Please join us for this virtual, interactive training

Join ODVN for this half-day training to explore various ways of promoting resiliency in the aftermath of domestic violence victimization. Building Better Lives, an initiative of the Franklin County Family & Children First Council, will present a foundational overview of brain-based, trauma-informed care concepts. Topics will include the Adverse Childhood Experiences Study, Historical and Race-related Trauma, Complex Developmental Trauma, Resilience Factors, Brain Architecture and Development, and much more. This training will provide participants with critical strategies to implement developmentally appropriate approaches for emotional regulation with survivors of domestic violence.

Cost: Free for ODVN Members (ODVN Member Program or Individual/Organizational Membership); $25 for Non-ODVN Members. ***Note: If paying by check, please include the name of the training on the memo line. 

CEUs: To obtain 2.5 CEUs, you are required to attend the entire training and complete the evaluation. When you go to register, please include your complete license number if you are a licensed counselor or social worker in Ohio. Evaluations and Certificate Request forms must be completed within 24 hours after the training to receive CEU's.
