Students are leading a growing number of violence prevention efforts on campuses, and prevention professionals can learn so much from their work. This panel discussion will feature student-led groups from Ohio universities working to support survivors, promote prevention, and educate peers on their respective campuses. In this training, participants will hear from a panel of students and experts in the field about their campus prevention and advocacy efforts. Panelists will help shed light on the needs of college survivors and strategies for promoting student-led movements on campuses. Panelists will share information with participants about their organizations' efforts and participate in a panel discussion curated by ODVN staff and registrants. The session will end with an open Q&A session for participants to ask questions directly to panelists.

Panel Moderator: Maggie McCann, Graduate Intern, Ohio Domestic Violence Network

Panelists: Students from Sexual Harassment & Assault Resources & Education (SHARE), Denison University; Students from Peers Advocating for Violence Education (PAVE), University of Dayton; Kate Lawson, Title IX, Coordinator, Xavier University; Keith Brown, Lead Title IX Coordinator Lorraine County Community College; Leah Stone, Assistant Director of Training, Ohio Domestic Violence Network; and Elle Fullenkamp, Manager of Training and Technical Assistance, Ohio Alliance to End Sexual Violence.
