Data and statistics can be valuable tools in grant writing and fundraising. Still, numbers alone cannot tell the whole story of an organization's mission, vision, purpose, and value to the community. Storytelling is a necessary but often overlooked and misunderstood component of making successful funding requests. In this Director's Academy training, participants will engage in hands-on activities and group discussions to learn how to harness the power of storytelling in grant writing, fundraising, donor engagement, and community awareness. This training is part of ODVN's Director's Academy and is only open to those in Executive and Program Director positions at one of ODVN's domestic violence member programs.
