Language access is a right of all survivors we serve in DV programming. This quarter's Tuesdays@ 2 training will focus on ensuring our DV agencies have appropriate language access plans and how to ensure DV program staff are adequately trained on responding to survivors who are Limited English Proficient (LEP). The training will focus on what to include in LEP policies, building relationships with interpreting companies, training for staff, and best practice guidelines for serving survivors who are LEP or Deaf/Hard of Hearing survivors.
