Who Would Benefit From This Course: This workshop is designed for professionals transitioning from corporate America into non-profit fundraising, for volunteers taking a more active role in fundraising, for Board members interested in making a bigger impact and for fundraising professionals seeking advanced strategies to meet their fundraising goals.

Non-profits are defined by their mission but they’re sustained by fundraising.  Success in fundraising will make or break a non-profit, and in this two part series, you will learn the key fundraising methods that can generate the money your organization needs to succeed.

Part One is designed for non-profits operating on a shoe-string budget and interested in growing their donor database rapidly. Topics include new lead generation, special event planning, online auctions, holiday appeals, e-newsletters, social media marketing, planned gifts, leadership gifts, corporate sponsorships, video testimonials and much more. Please note that Grant Writing is offered in two separate PDC classes for those interested in this important topic. This class provides actionable strategies designed to produce immediate results.

Participants Will Learn:

  • Step by step "how to's" for writing effective appeal letters that generate $$$$
  • Step by step "how to's" for signing on corporate sponsors
  • Special Workshop Activity ~ Creating a Sponsorship Template for your events
  • Step by step "how to's" for launching a planned giving program
