Under the new State and Federal Rules, courts in Colorado are taking a closer look at civil cases prior to the Case Management and Scheduling Conferences. Attorneys from both sides of the bar are being asked to be much more familiar with the details of their case and to have detailed, concrete litigation plans by the time the first of the first court conference. Panelists will discuss topics counsel should be aware of and prepared for prior to the first court conference and how counsel might professionally meet and discuss litigation plans including the scope of discovery before appearing in court. Speakers will offer concise and specific suggestions for “best practices.”
Chairs:
Heather Salg, Esq. of CDLA and Nelson Boyle, Esq. of CTLA
