This 60 minute CLE will focus on the case recently argued by Colorado's Solicitor General, Fred Yarger, in front of the Supreme Court, Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission.  In Masterpiece Cakeshop, the Court considered whether Colorado's public accommodations law violated the First Amendment rights of a baker who refused to bake a cake for a same-sex wedding.  Mr. Yarger will discuss the facts of the case and the substantive legal disputes, and will give a first hand account of his experiences arguing in front of our nation's highest court.
