The Judges will discuss the continued issues they see with jury selection in civil cases. The Judges are approaching this with somewhat different vantages. Judge Miller has been on the bench for many years, while Judge Sokol has been on the bench since August 2017. Both Judges have seen many juries selected in civil cases, and both have noticed some persisting problems. The Judges will discuss these issues with an eye toward making the jury selection process more effective, efficient and painless.
