Speakers will discuss how to successfully defend civil rights and employment lawsuits brought against municipal entities. Attendees will receive an overview of municipal liability theories, including how each theory is proven by plaintiffs and legal trends associated with the same. Attendees will hear tips on filing motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment in response to municipal liability claims. Speakers will also discuss discovery tactics, including responding to written discovery on behalf of municipal entities and preparing municipal decision-makers for deposition.
