The CLE will consist of a panel discussion of judicial objectiveness and the impact of diversity, or lack thereof, on objectivity. In other words, if judges are to be objective and the law blind, shouldn’t diversity bring nothing to the table? Or, is there something about a judge’s experiences /culture /diversity, that assists them in being truly objective.  Likely side topics are implicit bias, prejudice, and other factors that may impact one’s ability to be objective. A time for questions will immediately follow.
