Live Online Course:

Upset Recognition and Recovery Training

High Performance (HiPer) URRT

Flight Research, Inc. is now offering online live training for each of the ground school sessions associated with the world class Flight Research Upset Recognition and Recovery Training (URRT). These modules will familiarize pilots with the concepts of URRT. As part of the solution to Loss of Control- In Flight, these conceptual tools are part of a larger more comprehensive program which includes in-aircraft training at the Flight Research Headquarters located in Southern California at the Mojave Air and Space Port.

Aviating in the HiPer Environment

The high altitude and transonic environments, or HiPer environment, can be very different than the normal flight regimes we fly in with lower performance aircraft.  This advanced module describes the differences experienced in the HiPer environment as compared to normal lower performance flight regimes.  As with our standard URRT courses, the HiPer courses will take you through the design and test methodology of these aircraft from an operationally relevant perspective.  No other institution has the ability to teach these advanced topics from such a unique perspective.

Pilots will receive in-depth, personalized instruction covering URRT Causal Factors from Dr. Scott T. Glaser in this three-hour session. Pilots will have the ability to interact throughout the live course and ask questions relative to their own operations.

The course is limited to only 15 registrations to ensure quality training. Be sure to register today to get an open seat.

More Information

This course is from the Aviating in the HiPer Environment Session utilized in our world renowned 8+hr ground school for Upset Recognition and Recovery Training at Flight Research Headquarters at the Mojave Air and Space Port in Southern California. The information provided is unique to Flight Research Inc. as it was developed with the resources in our several Test Pilot Training syllabi to give pilots an all-encompassing view of their aircraft's capabilities and tested parameters.

The course results include an increased confidence and competence in aircraft operations and a better understanding of how and why Loss of Control-In Flight is the number one cause of fatalities in aviation.
