Women's Bible Study Fall 2014 

This fall we are excited to offer Bible Studies on both Tuesday evenings and Thursday mornings. Each class costs $10. On Thursdays we will have Kids' Club available for children from birth-preK for $10.

Thursday morning study of JAMES

We all yearn for a mature and steady faith but rarely are eager for God’s refining work to bring that result in our lives. The Epistle of James is an immensely practical and relevant book that underscores the vital link between our faith and our behavior. We will seek to taste and see the Lord in the midst of trials, the taming of our tongue and trusting him in the fires of suffering.   We will also seek to grow in maturity from causal consumers of the word to intentional self-feeders on Scripture. Through various bible study methods and tools we will seek to discover the who, what, where, when and how of developing a taste for the Word.

Tuesday Evening study of gods at war

In gods at war, Kyle Idleman, bestselling author of not a fan, helps every believer recognize there are false gods at war within each of us, and they battle for the place of glory and control in our lives. What keeps us from truly following Jesus is that our hearts are pursuing something or someone else.  While these pursuits may not be the “graven images” of old, they are in fact modern day idols.  Behind the sin you’re struggling with, the discouragement you’re dealing with, the lack of purpose you’re living with is a false god that is winning the war for your heart.
