Utah Governor Gary R. Herbert recently signed a proclamation declaring the entire month of September 2010 as “Roots of Freedom Month” in honor of George Washington’s statment that one of our nation’s primary objectives should be “the education of our youth in the science of government.”  America’s Freedom Education Week will be the fitting culmination of this month’s activities!   

 Come learn from the finest educators and speakers in our great nation on many critically important topics, such as our inspired Founding Fathers, the establishment of a free nation governed by its people, the epic bravery of those who fought to retain liberty, the fundamental importance of the establishment of the Constitution and Bill of Rights to human freedom, the role of the United States of America in world history and ancient prophecy, acknowledgement of God’s hand in the formation of this nation, the role of Native Americans in its  representative form of government, the critical importance of upholding, honoring and defending these sacred documents, and how, through education, we can restore honor and patriotism, faith and charity, for a renewed sense of hope for our country!

 We are very excited to present to you, at this critical juncture in our nation’s history, the most authoritative, powerful and influential leaders and impassioned speakers ever assembled into one week-long event!  It has been organized to encourage and empower citizens of this blessed nation to become more educated, rise up and claim the blessings of freedom for ourselves and future generations. 

 This is THE patriotic educational event of the year...don’t miss it!

 Freedom's Call Award to be given to American Constitutionalist
W. Cleon Skousen's family at this event! 

This award has been received by only 4 other patriots.  The first was President Ezra Taft Benson.  Below is a photo of the award in the end of his diplay case located in the Ezra Taft Benson Building on BYU campus.  It was one of the final honors bestowed upon President Benson, given for his service to the call of freedom.
