Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) 2.0: Beyond Basics

Dates: (Thursday June 14), Friday June 15 & Saturday June 16, 2018

Faculty: Drs. John Markowitz, Edward McAnanama, Paula Ravitz, and Holly A. Swartz

For therapists with or without prior IPT training, this workshop provides an opportunity to refine IPT practice through highly interactive, experiential learning.   The workshop will include didactic teaching, clinical demonstrations, and participatory role plays. In a collegial atmosphere with expert IPT trainers, therapy practitioners can learn IPT basics and beyond, strengthening your abilities to deploy key IPT strategies and to utilize novel theoretical frameworks to manage difficult clinical problems or roadblocks in IPT.

For clinicians new to IPT or wanting a refresher, an introductory foundational half-day (June 14, 12:45pm-5pm) that precedes the two days will cover the key IPT elements.

Participants new to IPT can enroll in the 2.5 day workshop, and those experienced in IPT, in the 2-day workshop.  For the agenda, click here.
