Growing a business is challenging whether you are just starting or are a seasoned entrepreneur. Developing key strategies to sustain your business are essential to long-term growth.

This year's Symposium will focus on growth strategies for small businesses and will include workshops and a keynote address on a variety of ways to increase your organization's revenue stream.

Keynote Presentation: Make This Your Best Year Business! Make This Your Best Year Life! by Mary Cantando, President of The Woman's Advantage   Mary Cantando, keynote speaker

A featured speaker at regional, national, and international events, Mary serves as an envoy of the US State Department; in this role she travels to developing countries to help groups of women start microbusinesses.
Mary's innovative ideas have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Fast Company Magazine, O The Oprah Magazine, PINK Magazine, Enterprising Women Magazine, and Body & Soul Magazine. She has been featured in hundreds of national and TV and radio shows.

Mary's fun, interactive, thought-provoking session is entitled Make This Year Your Best Year Ever…in Business! Make This Your Best Year Ever…in Life! and is based on her widely acclaimed Woman's Advantage Shared Wisdom Calendar. In addition to her annual calendar, Mary has written five books, each presenting ground-breaking ideas for busy women who want to make a difference in their workplace, family, and community. (Read the five ideas that Mary couldn't squeeze into her upcoming keynote sessions.)

As an advocate for women, Mary is a Trustee of The Women's Alliance, an Ambassador of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council and a Chapter Chair for the Women Presidents’ Organization.
