Aja N. Atwood, the owner of Trella Technologies will be the featured speaker at the Tuesday, October 8th meeting of the Cape Cod Women’s Association. The meeting is 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Ivy Room at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 287 Iyanough Road (Route 28), Hyannis.

Aja is a mechanical engineer-turned-entrepreneur, team leader, and cannabis advocate determined to create and use innovative technologies to improve the lives of others.  In her presentation, Aja will discuss her journey transitioning from a corporate job into her new role in the indoor farming/cannabis industry as the CEO of Trella Technolgoies located in Bourne, MA.

The CCWA Member Spotlight will be Lisa Brown, CPC ELI-MP CiPP, a positive psychology life coach.

The Cape Cod Women’s Association brings women together to broaden their social and professional relationships and enhance their lives through networking, education and personal development.

In 2019, CCWA awarded $5,000 in scholarship funds, managed by the Cape Cod Foundation.  Any woman over 25 years old who is a resident of Cape Cod is eligible to apply.  In addition, the organization has budgeted $1,500 for member educational expense reimbursement and non-profit awards.

Fees:
The dinner meeting cost for CCWA Members is $28 until Friday, October 4 and after that it is $35. The cost for guests is $35.

Please register online by Sunday October 6, 2019. You may pay in advance using PayPal or credit card or pay with cash, check or credit card at the door. 

We appreciate your advance registration as it allows us to prepare enough food and to avoid long lines at check-in.

Cancellation Policy:
As the hotel requires the headcount to prepare food, we are limited to a 72 hour cancellation notice in order to provide a full refund.

Fundraising Details

Please support our scholarship fundraising efforts by donating an item or purchasing tickets. Suggestions include coupon/gift certificate representing your business or restaurant, a bottle of wine, candles, or even chocolates. The October theme is "Harvest time".
