Leadership Institute: 2011 School for Vestries 

This one-day training event offers vestry members, vestry officers, and parish clergy a simple, comprehensive course-rather like a Vestry 101.  All participants will be offered instruction in Episcopal Church structure and polity, church finance, parochial roles and relationships, and the spiritual aspects of vestry life.  The curriculum is designed to encourage the active participation of all attendees.

Each congregation in the diocese is encouraged to send up to five vestry members and one member of the clergy to the School for Vestries.

Lunch and all materials will be provided; participants are encouraged to bring a copy of their parish bylaws.
