Thank you Scotland for a warm welcome on a very cold day!

Despite the bitterly cold and snowy conditions more than 60 hardy soles travelled from the length and bredth of Scotland and beyond to join the exhibitors, speakers and fellow delegates at the Radisson BLU Hotel in the heart of Glasgow. As you entered the EXPO and workshop area you couldn't help but be impressed by the array of products on display all backed-up by a warm smile from the experts on hand to demonstrate and explain thier wares.

The Seminar programme commenced at 9:45 after a slight delay to allow those stuck in the snow to arrive and enjoy a coffee.

Chaired by David Gorshkov and featuring a panel of speakers and exhibitors, this was the first in a new initiative that provided the audience with the opportunity to "ask the experts" about any issue relating to Security Technology, the trends in the Industry, personal hints and tips and to engage with other delegates with the intension of sharing knowledge and experience. The Questions from the floor and members of the panel were many and varied, including topics such as: Spead of IP Adoption, Adding Value through integration, issues with transmission partners and the truth about ONVIF.
