Pull Your Sewing Machine

Out of the Box 

When did you last use your sewing machine?  If mom or grandma gifted you her old Singer, Kenmore, Brother or any other brand, take it out and bring it with you to our weeknight sewing class at Quilt Lizzy Ayden. Find or download its manual so we can help you restart your family legacy in sewing.

In this class, the first in a series, students will learn the basics of their machines. 

• Threading and winding the bobbin  
• Changing a needle
• Changing the presser feet and their many uses. 
• Constructing a drawstring bag and a nine-patch pillow.

For $35, people ages 13 and up can join us from 4 pm-6:30 pm for this refresher on the sewing skills.  While the registration fee includes most materials, typical sewing class supplies will help you practice at home.
