World Water Day

World Water Day is celebrated annually on March 22nd and focuses on the importance of water and its sustainable use. Explore the interesting freshwater ecosystems of the Burlington County Parks System, from Smithville Lake down the Rancocas Creek and its tributaries, and out to the Delaware River.  Learn about the valuable services wetlands provide for people, such as flood control and water purification. Discover the various ways in which we can protect our wetlands and conserve our water. Presented by Park Naturalist Kate Szostak.
