  "Passport to Kindergarten"

STEM

The Children’s Museum of Greater Fall River is offering  four PLCs that center around the topics of STEM, Brain Building in Progress, Kindergarten Readiness, and Literacy.  You will take away from these workshops a “Passport to Kindergarten” that you can recreate within your own centers or use as a tool to support continuity of education at home.

(This is a product of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’s Race to the Top-Early Learning Challenge grant initiative, which is managed by the Department of Early Education and Care in partnership with Boston Children’s Museum.)

STEM 

This Professional Learning Community (PLC)  will focus on using everyday house hold items to create STEM related activities. There will be an emphasis on “tinkering” and utilizing simple machines, as well as, engineering and math related activities.
