DAP for Children Under 2

Course Description: Every infant and toddler needs positive early learning experiences to foster their intellectual as well as social and emotional development (Zero to Three, 2014). During this time, experiences and interactions lay the foundation for later school success. In order to offer a high-quality program, infants and toddlers need individualized, responsive and stimulating developmentally appropriate experiences that occur throughout the day. In this session, participants will revisit infant/toddler development and explore providing sensory learning experiences based upon each child’s needs.
