July 10-14 (Mon-Fri) - Creative Movement I   (age 3)

July 17-21 (Mon-Fri) - Creative Movement II   (ages 4-6)

July 24-28 (Mon-Fri) Morning - Contemporary Dance (ages 9-12)

July 24-28/ (Mon-Fri) Afternoon - Contemporary Dance (13 & up)

Creative Movement I (age 3) 10:00-11:30am

Through rhymes, songs, music, stories and creative games, young children wil enhance their body awareness and explore rhythmic and locomotor movement patterns. They will increas their small and large muscle movements, and develop social skils as well! Dance activity will be 45 minutes, followed by a story, video or craft and snack time.    Tuition: JDT member: $115   Non-member: $130

Creative Movement II (ages 4-5) 10:00-11:30am

Designed for the rapidly developing coordination of children ages 4-5, this class explores variations of both small and large muscle movements, and work with movement sequences. Music, stories, and creative games will be a springboard for improvisational work. Classical dance technique will be intoduced! Dance activity will be 45 minutes followed by a story, video, or craft and snack time.  Tuition: JDT member: $115     Non-member: $130

Contemporary Dance (ages 9-12) 10:00-11:30am

The class combines elements of modern dance and classical ballet technique/ Emphasis will be placed on both group and solo improvisation and creative work. Dance activity is 1 hour, followed by the opportunity to improvise and share creative work. Snack will be provided.  Tuition: JDT member: $115  Non-member: $130

Contemporary Dance (ages 13 & up) 1:00-2:00pm

The class combines elements of modern dance and classical ballet techinque. Emphasis will be placed on both group and soloi improvisation and creative work.  Tuition: JDT Member $75  Non-member $88
