Wine on the Veranda 2015

The Historic Sam Davis Home and Plantation is thrilled to be hosting the third annual Wine on the Veranda on May 29, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on the secluded grounds of the Davis Plantation in Smyrna, Tennessee. This event will feature dishes from local restaurants and caterers expertly paired with local and regional wines, as well as music and a silent auction. A VIP event will take place from 5:00 - 6:00 pm.

In addition to the food tasting, guests can also enjoy music from local jazz band Eight O'Five Jive and participate in a silent auction.

Food vendors currently include Five Senses, Savoy Events Catering, Maple Street Grill, Jim 'N Nick's, The Hammery, JoJo's Fruit Tea, and Lil Cakes & Custom Creations.

Sponsors currently include Lipman Brothers, Franklin Synergy Bank, LaVergne Beverage Depot, and Ben & Margie Weatherford.

Tickets to the event are $45 per person, $75 for VIP's, or $30 for designated drivers/youth, and all guests will receive a souvenir Sam Davis Home glass. Wine on the Veranda tickets can also be brought back to the site on Saturday, May 30, 2015 for a free tour of the museum and home. The event is rain or shine, and there are a limited number of tickets. All attendees must show valid identification proving that they are at least 21 years of age before being served alcohol.
