Artascope Studios in South Portland is an art facility with five separate media studios. Classes are taught in three formats: all-inclusive one night classes, weekly classes taught in series and weekend getaways. Subjects range from jewelry making to stained glass, landscape painting to collage. In addition to classes, we host events and parties and have a studio membership program. Metalsmithing Series
Wednesdays 6pm - 9pm
Instructor: Clint Fulkerson
$195 for 6 classes, $40 per class
Learn metalsmithing in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Begin by learning how to handle the necessary tools and equipment. You will then set out on several projects, making pieces like rings and bracelets and perfecting skills in techniques like etching, embossing and soldering. This class is great for beginners or returning students.
