ASHRAE Jacksonville is excited to host this year's chapter lunch meetings at a new venue - The River Club of Jacksonville. The River Club of Jacksonville is located on the top floors of the Wells Fargo Tower downtown.

May 20th and after will be late registration pricing.
Registration will close late morning on May 21st for us to submit our headcount. 

ASHRAE Jacksonville will be hosting Gregg Achtenhagen, P.E., LEED AP BD+C from Cleaver Brooks, as he presents the Decarbonization of Boilers/ Steam Systems.

PDH / Continuing Education credit will be issued for this event.

Logistics / Parking

Parking options include the JAX Center parking garage across West Bay Street or you may find street parking.

The JAX Center 9-story parking garage is located at 1 West Bay Street, directly across the street from the Wells Fargo Building on the north side of the building. Please remember to bring your parking ticket upstairs and The River Club will validate your parking. From the parking garage, walk across the street into the Wells Fargo Building first floor Lobby.

Alternatively, you may park on the street and pay the meter, as many do for the events.

Once in the Wells Fargo Building on the First Floor Lobby, look for the middle elevator bay that says Floor 24-35 or The River Club.   

You can go directly to the floor for our meeting room, either 34 or 35. We will send out a reminder email to announce the room and floor when it gets closer to the event date.

Presenter Bio

Gregg Achtenhagen is currently Senior Manager for Cleaver Brooks Packaged Boiler Division. He received his BSME from Marquette University in 1981. He began his consulting engineer career in 1978. From 1993 until he retired in 2013, he was Managing Partner for Ring & DuChateau, Inc. a regional consulting engineering firm. During this time, he focused on central plant design for large universities and health care institutions, designing projects in over 20 states. In addition, to his consulting career Gregg taught at HVAC design at the Milwaukee School of Engineering from 1984 until 2000. After retiring, he motorcycled through the US, Canada, Mexico, and South America. After about a year of traveling he realized he enjoyed engineering and teaching and joined Cleaver Brooks. In his current role he works with engineers and contractors on applications for hydronic and steam boiler plants.   He is a Past President of the Wisconsin Chapter of ASHRAE, a registered P.E., a LEED AP and Certified GeoExchange Designer.
