AIHEC Aseto'ne Networking Project

Health Research Mentoring Program

Become a Mentor!

The Aseto'ne Networking Project provides support and opportunities for TCU students interested in health research, including connecting researchers to TCU students. As part of this program, we are seeking professionals who are willing to share their experiences and offer professional and career development counsel to TCU students. Our mentors play a critical role in student services. Mentors will offer assistance and support, and will help guide students in their academic and professional goals. Mentor support will be provided via the PRAXIS educational platform.

To become a mentor you must be a TCU faculty member/instructor or a Native professional who is involved in a health or biomedical field. Mentors are paid $50/hour. The program is year-round.

Please note: Third and fourth year medical students are considered professional mentors. If you are a first or second year medical student, please reach out to Maggie or Reno for information about applying to be a near-peer mentor.
