The Ramayana and the Power of Storytelling

A participatory practice through storytelling, featuring Dr. Robert Svoboda telling the Indian epic, The Ramayana, with commentary and insight into the esoteric meaning of the story over the course of the weekend featuring group chanting and musical interludes. There will also be a lecture on the importance of myths and stories in spiritual life. Scott Blossom will teach yoga in the Shadow style on Saturday & Sunday.

Dr. Robert Svoboda is the first Westerner ever to graduate from a college of Ayurveda and be licensed to practice Ayurveda in India. The author of more than a dozen books, he lived in India for more than a decade, after which he has continued to spend much of each year there and in other lands.

Scott Blossom is a Traditional Chinese Medical practitioner, Shadow Yoga teacher and Ayurvedic Consultant. He has been studying yoga for over twenty years and teaching for thirteen.
