Ned & Lorrie's Riviera Yachts Rendezvous 3.0- The Hat Trick!

Yes, it is time for another Rendezvous!  Fall in St. Michaels, some of our dearest friends, and of course the best boats on the water- what could possibly go wrong?

Here are the pictures from last year's event:

Once again we will head to the St. Michaels Harbour Inn.  This unique resort offers a marina, full spa, waterfront pool, great bars and restaurant, and a wonderful staff.  They also have a very nice hotel right on the docks for extra guests or those not arriving by boat. www.harbourinn.com

Here is the itinerary!

FRIDAY, September 27:
12PM:  For those who can make it early that day, we will leave at noon and take a cruise up the gorgeous Wye River, arriving at Pintail Point Resort at 1 for a BBQ lunch and some sporting clays shooting before heading back to St. Michaels.  This is a very special place in a beautiful setting.  www.pointatpintail.com
5-7PM:  After arriving at the Harbour Inn, we will host a catered happy hour on the second-floor deck overlooking the marina and St. Michaels harbor.  Dinner that evening is on your own, but the smart money says you will find me and Lorrie at Theo's.  www.theossteakhouse.com

SATURDAY, September 28:
7-10AM:  Breakfast in the hotel overlooking the harbor including chef's omelette station.
There are several options on your own that morning, including:
-Paddle board and kayak tours of San Domingo Creek (the "back door" to St. Michaels), through http://www.shorepedalandpaddle.com
-Tours of the excellent Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, www.cbmm.org
-Or the excellent Spa right at the Harbour Inn

Lunch that day is on your own, but if you again want to place a solid bet, we will be at Carpenter Street Saloon.  http://www.carpenterstreetsaloon.com
We are planning to have a Riviera 5400 there with a Seakeeper gyro installed.  It is a really cool system and exciting to experience in person.  www.seakeeper.com

That afternoon we think we should continue our general Barbarians at the Gate vibe and descend by boat upon the Inn at Perry Cabin, famous from the movie Wedding Crashers.  They have a blueberry vodka cocktail that is very enjoyable in the adirondack chairs on the lawn. https://innatperrycabin.com

5-7PM: A happy hour "boat hop" with a staffed (and now mobile to follow us) bar on the docks.
7-9PM: We return to the Harbor Lights room overlooking the marina for a seated, plated dinner of either steak and cake, salmon filet, or vegetarian risotto with the excellent Stewart's Catering's signature salad, sides, and desserts.

SUNDAY, October 1:
7-10AM Breakfast in the hotel overlooking the harbor including chef's omelette station.
Noon: Depart St.Michaels and have a safe trip back to home port.

The cost for the weekend is $200/person, which will cover all scheduled meals and activities.  Please register asap so we can help the caterers etc. plan accordingly.

Please contact the Marina directly at 410-745-9001 for dockage, or the hotel itself if you or your guests would like to stay ashore.  Let them know you are with our Riviera Rendezvous and they will group us together. I would suggest doing this ASAP due to the popularity of the Harbour Inn.

Lorrie and I are so excited for this event and really hope you can join us.  As always, call on my cell with any questions.  Until then, have a great time on the water.

All the Best,
Ned and Lorrie
