Historic Downtown Swansboro
Join the N.C. Coastal Federation and Swansboro Parks and Recreation in Historic Downtown Swansboro for a celebration of North Carolina oysters and seafood and the healthy coastal habitats and waters that provide them.
The Seafood Shellebration will kick-off on Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. with a wine tasting and seafood pairing at the White Oak River Bistro. Tickets for the wine tasting event are $40 for federation members and $50 for non-members and can be purchased by contacting the White Oak River Bistro at 910.326.1696.
Then on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., progressive seafood tastings will be offered at various restaurants and establishments in downtown Swansboro including Bake, Bottle & Brew, Icehouse Waterfront Restaurant, Saltwater Grill, Trattoria Gourmet Pizza and Italian Cuisine and others. Some of the shops, including Lovely’s Boutique, will also be providing free gift items or discounts.
Tickets for the Saturday progressive seafood tastings are $40 per person for federation members and $50 for non-members and should be paid for in advance by following the registration link below. Tickets can also be purchased at Bake, Bottle & Brew, Icehouse Waterfront Restaurant, Lovely’s Boutique and Saltwater Grill, after February 1. Tickets include a marsh cruise aboard the Lady Swan with trips leaving the Main St. boat ramp at 12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:30 p.m. Tickets purchased online can be picked up at the Swansboro Town Hall Assembly Room on Saturday, March 1st where the federation will be showing their documentary, “Habitats, Heroes and Hallelujah” on the hour. The documentary highlights some of the North Carolina coast’s most beautiful and productive areas and profiles everyday people who have helped save these special places.
