Do you love seafood? Do you want to learn more about where it comes from? Do you want to sit back, relax with a glass of wine and a deliciously prepared meal with blue crab? If you answered yes at least once, you should join us for dinner at Basnight’s Lone Cedar in Nags Head on Thursday, May 8. Chef Vicki Basnight is creating a unique menu for the evening featuring blue crabs prepared in a variety of dishes, each with an appropriate wine pairing.

While we wine and dine, the Coastal Federation will give local updates about shoreline restoration efforts and opportunities to get involved. The main event will be hearing from a local waterman that works hard to harvest local shellfish and get local seafood to your table. Learn about the importance of blue crabs in our North Carolina waterways and how you can help us protect their estuarine habitat: No Wetlands, No Seafood!

The price for this multi-course menu, featuring blue crab, with multiple wine pairings is $45 for Federation members and $55 for non-members. Seating is limited, so please register below to reserve seats.  Reservations are non-refundable and guests must be 21 years or older or accompanied by an adult.
