Coastal Cruises: Trawling Adventure

Hammocks Beach State Park, Swansboro

Learn about a variety of fishing practices first-hand on the Trawling Adventure Cruise! Participants will try their hand at pulling in a trawl net, using seine and dip nets out in the marsh, collecting crab pots, and raking for clams in the White Oak River. 

Participants will meet at the Hammocks Beach State Park Visitors Center in Swansboro and are asked to bring their own water and snack and to dress appropriately for the weather. Closed-toe shoes required. The program fee is $20 per person. All ages are welcome, though the program is geared toward adults and older children.

Registration is required (maximum of 10 registrants).
