Title: Employment Law in a Changing World:  What’s New?  What’s Next? Why Bother?
Ms. Harvey will highlight recent developments in employment law, including (but not limited to) the current status of the new FLSA regulations (and any pending litigation regarding those regulations), the EEOC and judicial expansion of sex discrimination under Title VII to include prohibitions on discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity (and the implications of such expansion on the workplace), and foreseeable changes in EEOC practice and strategy in the new era of the Trump administration,  Attendees should be sure to bring your “hypothetical” HR questions and experiences for discussion with the group.
