Recharge Retreat

Join youth (ages 12-17) from across the Diocese of Toronto at the ReCharge Fall Retreat at Muskoka Woods!

Good food, music, inspiring worship, encouraging speakers, friendship, the great outdoors...what could be better?!

Cost is $85 and includes all meals and dorm-style accommodation. Bursaries may be available, please contact your Area Youth Coordinator, if your church is in:

Here's what we'll be talking about:

This year’s theme is “Agents of Change: Christ’s Heart in Action Nurturing Global Effect”. 

Did you know that God has called you to be an agent of change in the world?  This call is found in scripture and reflected in our baptismal vows as Anglicans, but can sometimes feel overwhelming or too daunting a task as individuals. At this year's Recharge Retreat, we want to focus on the fact that God has put us in a community, the church,  and working together in the power of the Holy Spirit we can challenge injustice and bring change to the world we are all part of. We also want to hear from you about the issues that you care about and talk together about practical ways you can make a difference.

Bus Information

A bus has been organized for those in the GTA.  The bus will leave from Church of the Incarnation (Sheppard & Bayview).

Cost is $20 round-trip and can be paid with your registration.  Bus will depart at 6:30pm. In order to board the bus, you must turn you BOTH waiver forms (see above).

Group Policy 

If your church is sending 4 or more youth to the retreat, you must send a youth leader (18 years or older) who has been screened according to the Diocesan Screening in Faith Policy. For those sending less than 4 youth, we will assign a Diocesan Youth Ministry Apprentice to be a chaperone. 

Age Policy

Please note that anyone attending the retreat who is 18 years or older will be considered a leader and MUST be screened according to the Diocesan Screening in Faith Policy before attending the event.

9:15-10pm Meet & Greet (fun activity, orientation, etc)

10pm Snack

11pm Quiet time in rooms

12am Lights Out

Saturday - 8:30am Breakfast

9:30-11am Wide Game

11:30am-12:15pm Session 1

12:30pm Lunch

1pm FreeTime & Activities 

5pm Freshen Up

5:30pm Dinner

6:30pm Session 2

7:45pm Group Activity

9:45pm Campfire 

11pm Quiet Time in Room

12am Lights Out
