Workshop led by Pam Frache of the Workers' Action Centre as part of "Re-Membering and Re-Making Community" - Diocesan Outreach & Advocacy Conference, 2021.
The global pandemic helped expose the low wages and unsafe working conditions experienced by so many of the frontline workers who keep our communities fed, safe, and cared for. We have an important opportunity to work together to turn precarious jobs into good jobs by fighting for higher wages, safer working conditions, fair scheduling, job security, and an end to racism and discrimination in the labour market. Pam Frache is the Coordinator of the Justice for Workers: Decent Work for ALL campaign (formerly the Fight for $15 and Fairness) and an organizer with the Worker's Action Centre.
