Picking Up the Pieces
Do past experiences make it a challenge to be the person you want to be today? The chance that most people will survive traumatic experiences during their lifetime is unfortunately way too common, yet people often feel embarrassed or ashamed they can’t “get over” what happened and are unaware it takes fresh insights to get unstuck and move forward. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll discover the truths about trauma, awareness, and coping techniques to reconnect with your resilience, and how to let go and gain perspective to move on to happily ever after.
Co-Teacher Janet Federico, Thrive ICT
Janet Federico is President & CEO of Thrive ICT and a passionate activist for survivors of trauma. As a survivor of domestic violence and sexual assault herself, when Janet relocated to Wichita and found no dedicated services tailored for lifelong survivorship, she founded Thrive ICT in 2016 to provide long-term survivors of trauma with the tools and resources they need to manage the aftermath of trauma and reestablish social, emotional, and financial safety and security.
In addition to her work at Thrive ICT, Janet is also co-host of The Aftermath Podcast which tackles issues of life after trauma. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Ellis College and is a Diamonds Graduate of the Gemological Institute of America.
Classes are $35 each and include a workbook and badge.

Tickets are nonrefundable; however they are transferable to someone else if you can't make it to class.
