Participants will have an opportunity to network with fellow entrepreneurs and meet the lenders at the end of the workshop. SCORE certifed mentors will be there to interact and plan future line of action.

SBA Programs and Services – presented by Stephen Curry
Stephen has many years with the SBA and is currently their Economic Development Specialist in Houston. He is a veteran and continues to help veterans. Some of the many SBA programs Stephen leads are Emerging Leader Initiative, Encore, Boots to Business, and Entrepreneurs with Disabilities.
DRDA CPAs & Business Consultants Programs and Services – presented by Susan Granger
Suzy will discuss how to use your 401(k) funds to start a business. Suzy works directly with entrepreneurs to assist them in funding for their businesses. DRDA provides a wide array of consultative services aimed at assisting the small business owner to start, or grow their business. One such service is a self-directed 401k plan that allows entrepreneurs to access retirement funds.
Houston Federal Credit Union Programs and Services – presented by Bruce Hurta
Bruce has over 20 years experience in Small Business Lending. He is currently with Members Choice Credit Union, member of Houston Association of Government Guaranteed lenders. In June 2014, he received the Financial Services Champion of the Year Award from SCORE Houston and the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Houston District Office.
