Starting a business remains very challenging to many aspiring entrepreneurs. In this workshop, participants will learn simple yet proven and tested steps for starting a new business.
Participants will learn and understand the following:
- Realities of entrepreneurship
- Critical success factors
- Components of Business Ownership
- Making Your Business Legal
Participants will have the opportunity to meet SCORE certified mentors who are readily available to provide FREE and CONFIDENTIAL mentoring.

Matt is a SCORE mentor with a financial background starting with Ernst & Young before moving into executive finance roles with Baker Hughes, BJ Services Co.,Veritas DGC and Grant Prideco Inc. More recently, he has started several businesses including two restaurants, real estate rental and a
cell phone retailer.
Matt has also served on the Board of Directors of three energy companies.
