Keynote Speaker
Scott McClelland is the President of H-E-B Food/Drug Stores, a $26B retailer that operates 390 stores in Texas and Mexico.Known as the “HEB Guy”, Scott is the local face for H-E-B starring in TV commercials along with JJ Watt, Deshaun Watson, Jose Altuve and other local notables.Under his leadership H-E-B’s grew from an 11% to a market leading 28% share by opening larger stores with a heavy emphasis on low prices, locally sourced products and tailored assortment based on the neighborhoods around each store.Scott serves on numerous local boards, including the Greater Houston Partnership where he serves as the Chairman on their Board of Directors. 

Master of Ceremonies: Bob Charlet became the publisher of the Houston Business Journal in 2015 where he joined a veteran team of professionals who have distinguished the HBJ as one of the leading business journals in the country. 

Charlet joined the Pacific Business News, a sister publication, in 2009 as advertising director and was promoted to publisher three years later. Prior to PBN, he was North American group sales manager at Canon Communications, overseeing sales and marketing for a group of B2B media properties. He is a graduate of Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana.

Entrepreneurial Success - Michael G. Scheurich

Michael was raised in Beaumont, Texas. He received his undergraduate degree in construction science at Texas A&M. Family-Owned Business of Year - Janice & Robert Jucker

Beginning in Europe, nearly 200 years ago, Three Brothers Bakery has become a Houston institution, most well known for their traditional Jewish breads, cookies, pies, cupcakes, custom cakes, and more!

JaniceJucker knows all about the domestic arts.The San Antonio native's career ranges from lobby manager and hospitality expert at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York to the manager of a contract sewing factory in Houston.And now, she's the president of Three Brothers Bakery, the multigenerational family business she married into that still makes its challah and rye breads from handed-down recipes more than 200 years old.

Three Brothers Bakery owner Bobby Jucker was named one of the top bakers in the country in 2016.
