I am the Medtech/Biotech Startup Champion and Venture Associate at Capital Factory, located in our new Houston location, the Ion. I've taken the path less traveled - from the offices of the White House, to the classrooms of a public school, to the bench at a major research institution and beyond; not to mention that I cultivated a wide variety of personal interests along the way. I believe it is these experiences and interests that have allowed me to become the person I am today. As Steve jobs said "creativity is just connecting things" because of a diversity or depth of thought about one's life experiences, which I wholeheartedly agree with.
