the basics of QuickBooks and how you can use this tool to run your business!
This class is suitable for the beginner who has or is about to purchase Quickbooks. It is intended to help you understand the numbers and avoid mistakes in critical areas.
We will cover the following topics:
- Introduction, set up and overview of the software
- How to set up your company files
- How to set up customers and jobs
- How to set up vendors
- How to process payments received from customers
- How to make deposits
- How to produce financial statements
- How to pay vendors
- How to produce Accounts Receivable and Payable reports
Instructor: Jada Harris
Jada has 20 years of Experience in Contract & Grant Management and has taught courses at a Higher Education Institution. As a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Jada assists small businesses in setting up and managing their QuickBooks subscriptions. Preparing monthly financial reports for government funding and the management of daily finances has never been more crucial than now. She has an undergraduate degree in Legal Assisting and a MBA in Project Management.
