Equity and Opportunity in Health and Education: What would Gisela do?

The Konopka Institute for Best Practices in Adolescent Health and the Healthy Youth Development*Prevention Research Center invite you to the 2015 Konopka Lecture.

This year's event will feature:

Community Showcase:  An opportunity to explore community-based, youth development organizations, meet up with colleagues, connect with Konopka and PRC community partners, and enjoy light refreshments. 

 Speakers:  A diverse program of speakers offering thought-provoking perspectives on equity and opportunity in health and education. 

Dr. Josie R. Johnson:  Civil Rights Leader; former University of Minnesota Regent, Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs and Senior Fellow at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs

Michael D. Resnick:  Gisela and E. Paul Konopka Chair in Adolescent Health and Development; Director, Healthy Youth Development * Prevention Research Center and Leadership Education in Adolescent Health Fellowship Program

Kim Campbell: Hopkins School District 8th Grade Teacher and Dean of Students; 2012 Coleen Yatckoske Middle Level Educator of the Year; Author of SOAR: A Handbook for Closing the Achievement Gap.
