Join us on Sunday, May 22, 2016, from 1:30-2:15pm at the Franklin Theatre for the Annual Meeting and then at 3:00pm for the Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of the Old, Old Jail located at 112 Bridge Street in Franklin, TN, the new, permanent home of the Heritage Foundation of Franklin & Williamson County.
This renovated 1942 Old, Old Jail is a National Register Building that was in critical danger of being demolished by neglect when the Heritage Foundation purchased it from the city in August 2013. Restoring the buiding's Art Deco architecture has given an important piece of Franklin's history a stay of execution and we can't wait to share it with our members and the community!
We will celebrate with a display of Italian Sports cars, food trucks, entertainment and of course - Old Old Jail tours!
