Driving Directions

From Downtown Chicago

Take the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) south to LaGrange Road (Route 45) south. Take LaGrange Road south to 107th Street. Turn left at 107th Street. Proceed about one-half mile, and the campus entrance is on the right after Kean Avenue

From the West

Take the East-West Tollway (I-88) east to the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) south. Take the Tri-State Tollway south to I-55 N/ STEVENSON EXPY N toward Chicago. Merge onto US-45 S (La Grange Road) via EXIT 279A. Turn left onto 107th Street. Proceed about one-half mile, and the campus entrance is on the right after Kean Avenue.

From Oak Brook Area

Take Route 83 south to Archer Avenue (Route 171). Veer left at Archer Avenue stoplight onto 107th Street. Follow 107th Street through forest preserve past LaGrange Road/Route 45. The campus entrance is on the right after Kean Avenue.

Mended Little Hearts of Chicago-Walking for Little Hearts 5k

1 in 110 babies are born with a Congenital Heart Defect (CHD), #1 birth defect in the U.S. Join us and walk in honor of our CHD heroes and angels. Why participate in this walk? Proceeds from this walk support our Care Bags Program. We deliver 80+ care bags a MONTH to 5 Chicago Children's Hospitals and deliver Angel Boxes to CHD angel families.

Join us for our FIRST Mended Little Hearts of Chicago-Walking for Little Hearts 1K or 5K

Help us continue to support heart families in need throughout Chicago. Proudly delivering 80+ care bags to

5 Chicagoland hospitals and offering meeting support monthly.

Free for all kids

$15 for each adult

(Dogs are not permitted)

Parking on the 111^thStreet Entrance

This family event will feature:

*Fitness Walk warm-up *Face Painting *Kids Craft Table

*Polished Girlz-Nail Polishing

8:00am Registration Begins

9:30am Fitness warm-up

10:00am Walk Begins

10:45am Windy City Thunderbolts Mascot, Boomer will appear & sign autographs

Walk will begin with a ceremony to honor our CHD heroes and CHD warrior angels

*Team captains that fundraiser over $50 will receive a MLHC water bottle and team captain fundraising over $100 will receive a MLHC T-Shirt.
