Understanding, Building and Assessing Competencies 

Using the LEADERSHIP ARCHITECT® to build and implement competency models

The LEADERSHIP ARCHITECT® is an integrated, research-based set of tools that gives organizations the ability to put leadership and organization development best practices into action.  This two-day workshop will help you establish a common competency language that identifies mission-critical skills needed for individual and organization success.  Armed with the LEADERSHIP ARCHITECT®, you will be able to implement an array of competency-based HR tools efficiently, effectively, and with confidence.  The Leadership Architect® Suite is recognized internationally and can be customized to fit any organization’s culture or operating style.

Attending this two-day workshop will enable you to:

  • Interpret the research behind the Leadership Architect® Suite and leverage this information in your organization
  • Use the Leadership Architect® Competency Sort Cards to identify competencies critical for success across different jobs and levels, create job profiles and individual assessments
  • Use the Interview Architect® to implement behavior-based interviewing and selection processes
  • Set a foundation for integrated strategic talent management processes, such as coaching and feedback, leadership development and succession planning, and translate them back to individual development

The workshop will be lead by Lominger  Master Associate, Jane Schenck, who has more than 25 years experience in competency-based HRD as well as executive, team, and Individual development.  Jane is managing owner of Catalyst Consulting and  specializes in executive coaching and high-potential identification and development.
