robot completing as many You've Got Mail missions
as possible in 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

You've Got Mail !

National Robotics Competition 

Is your robotics team ready for another challenge?  Do you want to improve your teams' robotics skills over the summer?  Do you have what it takes to successfully compete against other FLL Teams nationwide?

CyberKids Robotics is sponsoring the You've Got Mail ! National Robotics Competition.  Using your LEGO NXT Robotics Kit, your robotics team must complete a series of missions to help the Post Office successfully process and deliver the mail.  When you register your team, CyberKids Robotics will send you a robotics competition mat and field set up kit with detailed instructions on the missions your robot must complete.

All Robotics Teams will have until midnight  on August 16, 2010 to design, build and program a robot to complete as many missions as possible in the shortest amount of time.  Each team must submit a video of their robot performance for the You've Got Mail ! National Robotics Competition by midnight on August 16, 2010.  The team accumulating the greatest number of points in the shortest amount of time...WINS!!!!

Each team will also be required to submit a "no more than 5 minute" video explaining the design of their robot, their team's strategy for completing the missions and a brief explaination of each team member's role in the competition.

Prizes will be awarded to the Top 10 teams in the You've Got Mail ! National Robotics Competition. 

Each member of the Championship Team will receive a new NXT Robotics Kit.

First, through Tenth place teams will receive a registration and field setup kit for the FIRST Lego League Body Forward Competition.

Registration is limited to the first 1,000 robotics teams.  Robotics teams cannot exceed 8 team members.  All team members must be between the ages of 9 and 14 as of June 1, 2010.

Field Setup Kits and Competition Mats will be shipped to the address provided at registration.  Please allow 5 to 7 days for the delivery of your kit.
